1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Unity Hair mobile application or accessing our website at unityhair.app (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Unity Hair (“we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Unity Hair is a salon and stylist management platform that helps professionals manage client profiles, color formulas, extension mappings, appointments, and related business data. The Service is offered as a mobile application (iOS and Android) and may include web-based features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You may not: (a) use the Service to store or process data in violation of client privacy or data protection laws; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (c) use automated means to scrape or overload our systems; (d) share your account or credentials with unauthorized parties; or (e) use the Service to transmit malware or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective terms. Prices are subject to change with notice. Refunds are handled by the applicable store’s policies. You may cancel your subscription through your device’s subscription settings; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Your Data and Privacy
You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service (e.g., client information, formulas, notes). Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and storage of client data complies with applicable privacy and professional regulations.
7. Intellectual Property
Unity Hair and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including the app, website, design, logos, and underlying technology. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other intellectual property except a limited license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data you enter or for business decisions you make based on the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unity Hair and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Unity Hair operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
